Paper technologist apprenticeship
Paper technologists are versatile specialists. In a team of qualified professionals, they produce paper, cardboard, paperboard and cellulose on the most modern production systems. In addition, they prepare raw materials for use in paper and cardboard production. Paper, cardboard and paperboard are used for printing, refining and packaging while cellulose is used as a pulp for creating paper and cardboard.
Requirements profile
Good “Hauptschulabschluss (secondary general school-leaving certificate), with good marks in maths and the technical subjects, in particular.
