Achieving success through theory and practical application

Bachelor's degrees at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW)

With more than 28,000 students and around 9,000 cooperating companies throughout Germany, the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) is among the largest universities in Baden-Württemberg. Studying at the DHBW is a guarantee for vocational education at an extremely high level. Thanks to the alternating theoretical and practical phases, the dual study program is particularly practice oriented. As well as the professional knowledge required for their career, the students gain a high degree of social competence. The three year course of studies at DHBW is thus used efficiently and the graduates can already take on demanding professional tasks at an early stage. The theoretical phases take place at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Mosbach/Bad Mergentheim.

Bachelor of Engineering, subject: Industrial Engineering – International Technical Sales Management (ITVM) m/f

Students acquire interdisciplinary core competences that meet the demands of international technical sales. This includes technical and commercial competence, as well as methodical, linguistic, social and intercultural skills. These are necessary in order to awaken potential customers' interest in technical products and services and to convince them of the company's efficiency. For their future role as a sales executive, the students learn how to approach customers, recognise problems, provide solution proposals and activate the company's various functions for implementing customer requirements. Sales executives have primary responsibility for customer satisfaction and the company's economic success. The foundation course includes subject-specific English courses. Many lectures in the main period of studies are held solely in English, partially with international lecturers, meaning the technical English training is authentic and job-specific.
