REACH/RoHs

 

REACH stands for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals and is an EU regulation (EC 1907/2006), which entered into force on 1 June 2007. The REACH regulation serves to protect human health and the environment.

 

The RoHS directive regulates the use of hazardous substances in homogeneous materials. This directive aims to restrict certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
